The Spanish Premier League Schedule Has Been Announced.

The Real Federación Española de Fútbol (or the Royal Spanish Football Federation) has announced next seasons 2013-2014 schedule, where Villarreal will have to relive the last match of the season, as our fist match of the season will be against Almeria, away from home. El Madrigal will host its debut premier league game against Real Valladolid the following weekend, on the 18th of August.

During the first half of the season our most notable games will be:

4th weekend of the season - Villareal vs Real Madrid

9th weekend of the season - Athletic Bilbao vs Villarreal

10th weekend of the season - Valencia vs Villarreal

13th weekend of the season - Athletico Madrid vs Villarreal

16th weekend of the season - Barcelona vs Villarreal

17th weekend of the season - Villarreal vs Seville

The Submarines will conclude the season with a game away from home against Real Sociedad at the Anoeta stadium.

Looking at our upcoming season, we could not help but look at the English Premier League too, to see how our old acquaintances’ seasons are looking; Arsenal and Manchester United. The two teams will play each other on the 9th of November, while Manchester United will have to wait until the 1st of March for their Manchester Derby (against Manchester City), and the Gunners will have to wait even longer for their North London Derby (against Tottenham Hotspur), which will be played on the 15th of March.

We would like to wish all teams the very best of luck in their upcoming seasons, wherever they maybe.
