Aquino ends the Confederations Cup on a high with a final victory for Mexico

The yellow’s winger played in the stoppage time of the triumphant game against Japan (2-1)

The Villarreal midfielder, Javier Aquino, said goodbye to the Confederations Cup after playing in the last minutes of stoppage time in the clash between Mexico and Japan. The game was a mere technicality, as both teams had already been eliminated beforehand, however the Aztecs asserted themselves by winning 2-1 against the Asian team. The yellow midfielder replaced his team mate Raúl Jiménez in the 89th minute.
