La Vall d'Uixó hosts the Europa League trophy

Villarreal CF vice-president José Manuel Llaneza visited the town this Wednesday

José Manuel Llaneza, Villarreal CF vice-president, carried out an institutional visit this Wednesday to La Vall d’Uixó, where the UEFA Europa League trophy is on show until Friday 25th June.

Upon arrival in the town, he was greeted by mayor Tania Baños, and the town councillor for sport, Mar Arzo, in the Municipal Library. The president of the Official Villarreal CF Supporters’ Group (Agrupació de Penyes del Villarreal CF – APV), Javi Perez, as well as a number of members of the Pardals Groc supporters’ group, from La Vall d’Uixó, were also present.

Fans can visit the European title by visiting the Municipal Library (Plaça del Mercat, 2), this Wednesday from 12pm to 1pm and from 4pm to 7:30pm, or on Thursday and Friday from 9:30am to 1pm and from 4pm to 7:30pm.

The trophy will do a complete tour of the province of Castellón

Winning the UEFA Europa League is a historic achievement for Villarreal CF. To share it with the whole province, the club has decided to take the trophy to more than 30 cities, towns and villages across the province of Castellón so that people can get a photo with the important continental title.
