Villarreal CF has come to an agreement with Argentinian striker Fernando Cavenaghi, who will have a physical examination tomorrow. The 28 year old forward was an international player for his country and has played in different leagues around the world -Argentina, Russia, France, Spain and Brazil-, becoming a very experienced player. His skills make him a 'blue-chip' striker: technical conditons, quality, finishing skills and scoring ability. Cavenaghi played for CA River Plate last season, scoring 19 goals and achieving the promotion to the First Division.
The footballer will train with his new teammates tomorrow at the Sports City. The press conference that will oficially present the new player will be at 1.30 pm (Spanish time GMT+1) in the Press Room at El Madrigal stadium. After the event he will sign autographs and will have a photo session with all the fans that come by to the VIP box of the stadium, where two of his official jerseys will be sweepstaked among attendees.
