The midfielder from Talavera de la Reina is the second active player in the squad to have played more than 350 games for Villarreal CF.
Manu Trigueros has reached 350 games for Villarreal, after making his milestone appearance this Wednesday in a league clash with Granada CF.
Under Unai Emery's orders, the midfielder has become a vital part of the Yellow Submarine’s setup, playing an important creative role in the middle of the park.
He has played 241 LaLiga games for Villarreal, as well as 44 in the Europa League, 36 in the Segunda, 27 in the Copa Del Rey and two in the Champions League.
In the current squad, aside from Trigueros, only the club captain, Mario Gaspar, has managed to break the 350-game barrier for the Yellows.
