Villarreal B head coach Miguel Álvarez underlined the importance of this week for his team's hopes this season. The Yellows drew against Atzeneta last weekend (1-1), and this Wednesday they play at home against Alcoyano (5pm CET), and on Sunday, they host Valencia Mestalla (11:30am CET, Villarreal Live, Medi TV and Levante TV): "It's an important week for us. We're very excited ahead of the upcoming game with Alcoyano. I'm happy to be able to play the next two games at home. I can't wait. I'm sure the team will show a good level," he commented.
For the Mini Submarine manager, the upcoming opponents are in good form and are dangerous. "Alcoyano have just played three games in a row, and will be on a roll, but they'll also be more fatigued. They're a team with a lot of experience, like most sides in the league. They have good players who have been playing for a long time, and they also have some youngsters, and they all compete very well. I'm sure it will be a tough game. Showing personality will be crucial to compete. If we are demanding, we will be closer to being able to get a win."
To conclude, Álvarez underlined the demanding nature of Segunda B: "Every team has a sensational squad. Everyone wants to be towards the top and no points will come easily."
