Villarreal head coach Unai Emery appeared in front of the media to analyse the build-up to the second league game of the season, against SD Eibar (Saturday, 4pm CEST). The Yellows boss was very happy with his squad's hard work during the week and underlined that the team is in a good position going into the clash: "We can't wait for the start of the match. I think we're improving all the time. Against Eibar, we need to be capable of imposing our playing style, show continuity and be clinical to get the win."
Emery recognises that the tie will be tough given the away side's philosophy: "In terms of playing style, they're a team who knows how to mark their moments. They are very good at pressing. They are a solid team: high press, closing down the second ball. They have quality players to make a difference."
For the manager, the game against Eibar will be different from last week's game against SD Huesca: "We've analysed the first match in detail to look at individual and team improvement. Now it's time to adapt to a distinct playing style. This week of training will help us be better tomorrow."
