Villarreal midfielder Moi Gómez appeared in front of official media to analyse the current goings-on regarding the Submarine, who from this week are now working as one group under Javi Calleja's instruction. He recognised that the team can't wait for the league to start: "We are really looking forward to starting to play. We're analysing Celta, which will be a difficult game. We know what the aim is and we need to give that little bit more."
The Yellows No.23 underlined the team's good physical level, with the squad training now for nearly a month: "Physically, we're very good. We're now doing games between us and we're feeling good. It's important that we're the same team. We've looked after ourselves during lockdown. These last few weeks have helped us to analyse what we do well and realise where we can improve."
Regarding objectives, the midfielder backs his team to give their all and be ambitious in the last part of the season: "We have to be ready for the first match. We know we're going to have to give our all. Our squad is complete and we all feel important within the team. We know we have enough quality to fight for Europe."
