Villarreal midfielder Manu Trigueros appeared in front of the club's media to analyse the current goings-on regarding the Submarine, ahead of their return to LaLiga action next month: "Physically, we're very good. All of my team-mates have been very professional during lockdown. We have followed the guidelines given to us by the coaches strictly, training well and eating healthily."
The Yellows No.14 underlined that the team is looking forward to the return of training with everyone in one session: "We can't wait to get back competing. Soon we'll all be training as one group and we'll be able to do full-pitch games. That will help us a lot ahead of LaLiga's return."
Trigueros also appealed for everyone to be responsible, with the aim of reaching the new normal as soon as possible. "It's a delicate situation. We have moved past the worst now, but we can't relax. We need to be responsible and deal with it a little longer before we reach the new normal."
Finally, he recognised that the team is excited to be in the fight for the European spots: "We have a very good chance and we want to fight until the end. There are big teams in the fight and it'll be hard, but we know we've got a good team, and that if we go on a good run, we'll be in the battle."
