Villarreal defender Pau Torres appeared in front of Villarreal TV to explain what he gets up to day to day during confinement and thanked fans for including him in the Yellows' historic XI: "I don't deserve it yet, but I will continue working hard to make history with Villarreal CF," recognised the centre-back.
The Yellows No.4 spoke about his routine during these weeks in confinement: "I train during the mornings, after I make lunch and in the afternoons, I make the most of my time to study languages. In my down time, I listen to a lot of music and watch series."
Regarding the current situation we are going through due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he thanked healthcare workers for their hard work and praised the country's spirit. He also added that it is time to be strong and united to get out of this emergency situation: "When all of this passes, we will be better people. All of this that we're currently going through will help us value our lives a lot more. I'm convinced that we we will come out the other side stronger than ever."
