A massive game. Villarreal B host Lleida Esportiu on Saturday at the Mini Estadi (6pm CEST) in a game at the top of Segunda División B Group 3. Both teams are joint top with 17 points, alongside Andorra. "The league is very tight. Every team has top-level players. There is a lot of competition and you could lose anywhere", commented goalkeeper Diego Fuoli.
The goalkeeper, who is from Zaragoza, recognised that the latest win against Cornellà (1-2) strengthened the morale even more: "It was an important victory. It was a game where we showed what we can do this season, We're very happy because we responded well. Getting three points at Cornellà is never easy."
Regarding the upcoming opponents, Fuoli warned that it will be a tough game: "It's a very important game against a direct rival. If we win, we would get three points and they wouldn't. The team is in a good place and if we continue like that, we have more chances of ending the season at the top. Lleida are a tough opponent and I am expecting a tight game. The matches against Lleida are always decided by the smallest of margins. I'm sure they'll want to win, they have a good squad, but so do we. Every team that comes to the Mini knows they need to be at their best to go away with a win," he concluded.
