Villarreal B manager Miguel Álvarez underlined this lunchtime that it will not be easy to defeat Orihuela this Saturday at the Mini Estadi (7pm CEST Villarreal Live, Levante TV and Información TV), even though the side from Alicante are a newly-promoted team and have only taken a point from their first two games. "Orihuela drew against Prat, a tough opponent. Orihuela have players who are experts in this league, such as Chechu, José María Cases, Nico González, Andrés Sánchez, Juan Pedro Pina... They've got an experienced team and it will be hard to break them down if we don't do things well. Our aim is to improve on what we did against Atlético Levante at the Mini Estadi. If we stick to our playing style, our opponents will have to be at their best to beat us," he commented.
The Mini Submarine boss hailed his players' start to the league, which has seen wins over Atlético Levante (2-1) and Hércules (1-2): "The start has been phenomenal. We worked really hard in pre-season and we're all excited. We continue growing daily. The team is competing very well."
There are positive feelings around the Yellows reserves, who are currently joint top: "Going far doesn't scare us. The message to to the boys has got through. With hard work, big things can be achieved. We're very satisfied with the work ethics of everyone. We're happy, but this has only just started," underlined Álvarez.
Finally, the Villarreal B boss spoke about Simón Moreno's return, after loan moves to Almería and Málaga broke down: "Simón Moreno makes us better because he's a top striker. He's seen that he's close to the top and he's returned keen to get down to work. With Simón, we have a better squad."
