The striker analyses his professional and personal situation after returning to Villarreal B

Villarreal B striker Simón Moreno analysed this lunchtime his personal and professional situation after returning to the Yellows after his loan to Almería was cut short and a loan move to Málaga fell through. Despite everything, he underlined his excitement at returning to the Yellows: "I wanted to thank Villarreal for all their support. I'm happy to return home. I couldn't be with two teams for various circumstances, but now I only want to be in Villarreal B, which is my time. I would also like to thank the fans from Villarreal, Almería and Málaga for the support they've shown me on social networks."

The forward explained what happened like this: "The Almería owner didn't allow loan players without a purchase option. We reached an agreement to cut the loan short and I decided I wanted to go to Málaga. That also turned out badly. I even trained with them and they told me that I could be in the squad to face Girona. Then the squad was released and I wasn't in the list. Then I trained with those who weren't called up and on Monday they told me that the negotiations with Villarreal had fallen through. I can't express properly what I'm feeling. It feels like someone is against me. If destiny wants me to be here, it's because Villarreal is my home. At the end, everything has its moment, and I think that above everything else, we're all people."

Now he's focused on the Mini Submarine. "I was a bit surprised when it happened to me for the second time. We looked for a solution and the best one was returning to Villarreal. I've learned what being away from Villarreal is. That will make me stronger to continue growing. Outside it's cold. I've had various offers, but destiny wants me there. I'm still younger than 23 and happy to be in Villarreal's reserve side,": he said.

The forward hopes to put on the Yellows shirt once again this weekend against Orihuela at the Mini Estadi (Saturday, 7pm CEST): "I'm very happy. The coaching staff and my team-mates have made me feel welcome. This Saturday I want to play against Orihuela if it's possible. I've been here since U19 level and my dream is to make my top-flight debut wearing yellow."
