Villarreal U19s (Juvenil A) manager Miguel Ángel Tena has appeared in front of the press to analyse the build-up to the historic U19 Copa del Rey Final, which the Yellows outfit will be involved in against Atlético Madrid this Saturday in Roquetas de Mar (8pm CEST). "We've already made history. This is the first time that Villarreal has managed to reach the final of this competition. We have the chance to be champions and to put the cherry on top of a fantastic season. Both the club and this team deserve to be champions, although if we don't manage it, I will still be very proud of the boys. Whatever happens, I've congratulated them for the hard work they've done throughout the season, they've achieved a number of very difficult things," explained the Yellows boss.
Villarreal U19s will not lack excitement and they will be willing to fight for the title. "We've put in a lot of hard work throughout the season. We've played every match that we possible could have done. A lot of teams would want to be in the final tomorrow. We're really excited and have all the desire in the world to go into it. Hopefully we're capable of winning it," he added.
With the mind focused on beating Atlético Madrid, Tena says he will be loyal to the Villarreal formula: "We need to be us when we have the ball, to hurt them through it. When we don't have the ball it will be crucial to be a solid team and to be focus in defence, as they're an opponent with a lot of attacking potential."
