The matches that Fornal will play with the Spain national team are the following:
- Thursday 15th November: Croatia vs Spain, 8:45pm CET at the Maksimir Stadium in Zagreb (Croatia).
- Sunday 18th November: Spain vs Bosnia-Herzegovina, 8.45pm CET at the Estadio de Gran Canaria.
Fornals' call up to the Spain squad make him the 14th Villarreal player to represent La Roja after Unai Vergara, Guayre, Marcos Senna, Capdevila, Ángel López, Cazorla, Diego López, Marchena, Bruno Soriano, Borja Valero, Mario Gaspar, Sergio Asenjo and Rodrigo Hernández.
