Villarreal, Besiktas and Nihat Kahveci have reached an agreement that means the Turkish international striker will start next season’s campaign with the Istanbul club. It also marks a return to the club where the Istanbul born forward played for five years after coming through the club’s youth ranks.


During his time in a Villarreal shirt over a period of three seasons, Nihat played 62 games in La Liga, four in the Copa del Rey, four in the Intertoto, six in the UEFA Cup and four matches in the Champions’ League.
