Vila-real is the second most important town in the province of Castellón (Valencian Community) and is situated about five kilometres from the shores of the Mediterranean. Both El Madrigal Stadium and the Training Ground are in the town, with the stadium located within the residential area and the training pitches just five minutes from the stadium on the periphery of the town centre. It is situated apporoximately 60 kilometres from Valencia, a journey by bus of around 50 minutes.
