The ‘Endavant Província’ initiative started the season strong with its promotion of the shrimping town

A big celebration in honour of the town of Vinaròs. The shrimping town returned to El Madrigal stadium as the ‘Endavant Província’ main feature of promotion, a project which has been promoting tourism in Castellón towns since the 2014/15 season. Vinaròs, as it already was two seasons ago, has been the first town to shine at El Madrigal.

The day started with an official lunch with the Villarreal CF and Sevilla FC Board of Directors and was also attended by the Mayor of Vinaròs, Enric Pla, at the ‘Entrelíneas’ restaurant located inside the El Madrigal stadium. The menu was prepared by the ‘Rafel Lo Cristalero’ restaurant from Vinaròs.

Two hours before kick-off the party started in the new, remodelled area outside the El Madrigal stadium. The fans had a great time at the Fan Zone in the moments before the match, enjoying bouncy castles, human table football, traditional games, face painitng… Entertainment for all ages. What’s more, there were tents set up so the fans could enjoy tourist information and taste typical products from Vinaròs, like the town’s traditional ‘cocs’ .

Once inside the stadium, fans were serenaded by two musical parades on the pitch, before kick-off and at half time, by the ‘La Alianza’ music band, directed by José Ramón Renovell.

Furthermore, it should be noted that Villarreal CF member of Institutional Relations, Marcos Senna, gave out awards in the VIP stand at El Madrigal to those lucky fans from Vinaròs who won the prize draw from those that attended the official ‘Endavant Vinaròs’ presentation and also today’s match. The Submarine’s ex-player gave out the prize of two, double trips with the First Team (winners: Javier Palau and Pep Forcadell) and an official shirt signed by players from the First Team (winner: Pedro García), which will in turn be donated by the winner to raise money for the CREIXEM association.
